| As a rule of thumb, rotomolded
parts are hollow. If the application is for a
part that has stability and strength along edges
and corners, then rotomolding is the answer. At
R&R Technologies our product base includes
tanks, automotive housings, dunnage products,
ice bins, sump basins, speaker cabinets, material
handling pallets and containers, toys, floor,
cleaning housings, personal watercraft docks,
and hospital furniture parts.
Any of your parts, from small one-pound tanks
to large floating docks, can be made with molded-in
inserts, graphics that are in the surface of the
part, or graphics added post-molding. In addition,
a variety of colors is available, either as a
compounded material or as a custom mix using our
in-house mixers. RRT also makes custom products
for customers who require their part to be filled,
partially or fully, with polyurethane foam for
additional stability or insulating properties.
In the automotive industry, shipping cells protect
a newly made sub-assembly as it moves from the
supplier directly to the production line. These
cells are sonic welded together and fitted into
a metal rack or plastic material handling container.
Since automotive parts change frequently, cells
will be custom designed for a custom part fit
to eliminate part damage, and can be replaced
as needed economically.
RRT also makes PVC seats, armrests, seat backs,
and leg bumpers for a variety of applications.
The PVC skin is filled with a soft polyurethane
foam, adding to the comfort of the part.
